A Trip of a Lifetime

I longed to experience the remote and beautiful Kimberley and I realised I had an opportunity to do more.  My trip started in Far North Queensland where I visited beautiful tropical beaches and lush rainforests. I then went to Arnhem Land - a land lost in time and home to some of the oldest cultures on Earth. Darwin was hot and as expected a strange city, but it provided an opportunity to visit the nearby Tiwi Islands. The Kimberley trip included so many stunning locations from Katherine Gorge to Purnululu National Park, then onto the Gibb River Road where every bend in the road revealed more stunning vistas and every river crossing held a possibility of sighting saltwater crocodiles. At the end of the road was the spectacular Cable Beach in Broome.
