Overland travel starting with a wonderful stay in a beautiful riad hidden away from the bustle within the walls of Marrakesh. A walk around the ancient adobe village of Ait Ben Haddou. Lunch in Casablanca. A wander around Fez and Meknes. Volubilis with its well preserved Roman ruins showed the diversity of the history and culture of Morroco. A journey into the interior for a camel ride into the Sahara Desert and overnight at a traditional desert camp. Spectacular views as we made our way cross the high Atlas Mountains. Then back to Marrakesh for shopping in the Casbah.
